What skills do you need? We need a highly organized individual. You will interface with our clients primarily using Microsoft products to create deliverables, organize project work, and help manage the project team. The prospective candidate will possess the ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members and vendors via e-mail, video, and telephone.

What you will focus on:

Project Initiation and Planning:

  • Consult with all stakeholders to translate a project idea into a defined project with goals, objectives and scope.

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the proposal, the business, the technical scope and objectives and confirm the commitments, assumptions and constraints.

  • Work effectively with the business leaders/system owner, internal resources and/or third parties/vendors to define scope of the projects.

  • Prepare the detailed project plan and secure sign off / approvals from the client prior to commencing.

Project Execution:

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet client expectations.

  • Drive the execution of project plans and delegate team assignments, direct and monitor work efforts on a daily basis, perform quality reviews, ensure issue resolution and escalate issues as needed.

  • Track key project milestones, adjust project plans and/or resources as necessary.

  • Prepare relevant status reports for client meetings (reflecting schedule and budget), adhere to standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.

  • Manage vendor relationships during the project and adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needed based on communication between all stakeholders.

Communication & Training:

  • Ensure effective and timely communication with clients, key stakeholders and the project team

  • Develop and implement communication and reporting mechanisms to manage issues, risks and timely delivery of results

  • Drive the communication with all stakeholders on matters that impact the scope, budget, risk and resources of the project.

Project Closure:

  • Complete final project report, providing summary on overall delivery and budget

  • Formulate the warranty criteria and document lessons learned.

  • Ensure that project documentation is complete, current and archived appropriately

  • Coordinate the development of user manuals, training materials and all other applicable documentation to ensure smooth transition/adoption of new system/changes.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Contribute to enhancing the performance of a process or an activity.

  • Implement ambitious improvement projects using methods such as Lean Six Sigma.

  • Assists in creating the conditions to promote improvement, innovation and related tools and organize best practices sharing.

  • Root cause analysis and finding ways to resolve the issues.

How do we know you are our new Project Manager, Real Estate Systems? You have:

  • Previous real estate experiences a must, including but not limited to Yardi, RealPage, JD Edwards, Entrata, and MRI

  • PMP/ CSM or similar certification preferred

  • Knowledge of various project management methodologies (e.g., agile/scrum/waterfall)

  • Proven leadership skills

  • Ability to make important decisions under pressure

  • Ability to delegate effectively

  • MS Office intermediate to expert knowledge

  • Ability to switch tasks quickly and work with multiple clients and changing deadlines

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to be a self-starter and be comfortable with remote work
