CACI is currently looking for an intermediate level Acquisition Specialist - Leasing to support our mission critical government client.
What You’ll Get to Do:
As the selected candidate, you will be a key contributor to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Regional Procurement Office - Central (RPOC) to provide Acquisition Support Specialists to assist Medical Sharing, Services and Supplies, Specialized and/or Construction team(s) in work related to procurement for the VA. Your primary goals will be to provide the best procurement services for the VHA and to provide value-added procurement solutions to our customers.
More About the Role:
Support acquisition requirements in procuring supplies, services, leases, sharing/selling agreements, construction, and clerical work related to procurement for the VA and providing acquisition support to assist the Network Contracting Office (NCO).
Deliver multifunctional acquisition support services including all aspects of both pre-award functions, including market research, providing business advice to customers, preparing solicitation and award packages including all related contractual documents, and post-award administration.
Perform cradle to grave acquisitions functions in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation (VAAR), and all other applicable regulations and policies.
Assist with pre-award procurement functions including requirements definition; market research; drafting contractual documents such as solicitations, awards, and related documentation using the Electronic Contract Management System (eCMS); coordinating with requiring activities, industry, and other stakeholders; and completing contractual files; and post-award procurement functions
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Minimum of six (6) recent years of relevant experience in conducting comprehensive and complex acquisition leasing support activities, with extensive knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
Extensive knowledge and exposure to different contract types and complexities.
Twenty-Four (24) semester hours of business or business relating courses such as the following: accounting, law, business, finance, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, and organization and management. A FAC-C or DAWIA Level II in Contacting Certification or courses leading to certification is preferred or demonstration of the completion of commercial courses equivalent to certification.
