Commercial Banking (CB) provides the complete wholesale product offering of JPMorgan Chase, including lending, treasury services, investment banking and investment management to corporations, municipalities, financial institutions and not-for-profit entities with annual revenues generally ranging from $20 million to $2 billion.

The Credit & Lending Product Solutions team within CB Solutions is responsible for JPMorgan's Commercial Banking credit suite of products, the central credit product hierarchy across the firm, and the delivery of lending solutions for CB clients. The team manages and develops existing and new products, the lending product catalog, product standardization, field enablement, product governance, revenue management, and data & analytics.

Job Description

The candidate will own and manage JPMorgan's Credit & Lending Product Catalog which will enable efficient product configuration, pricing, and reporting. The Credit & Lending Product Execution VP will closely partner with the Credit & Lending Product Solutions team to ensure new and existing products and features are defined, and implemented across LOBs and client segments. This position will define and execute on the product strategy while leading a team responsible for managing features, availability, suitability, and eligibility. The credit product suite is utilized by many JPMorgan Chase wholesale clients across several LOB's, including CB, Corporate & Investment Banking, Private Banking and Dealer Services.

  • Credit support of Wholesale Payments
  • Credit support of Trade Finance

Core leadership responsibilities

  • Lead team of product managers in managing the product hierarchy and features library to ensure lending offerings are consistently referenced and identified across LOBs, financial and client reporting, and operations
  • Establish vision and roadmap for evolution and integration of credit product catalog with relevant up and downstream systems for CRM, underwriting, servicing, and reporting
  • Utilize design thinking to define credit and lending product personas and correspond solutions to existing and emerging needs
  • Partner with teams (Credit F&BM, technology, business operations, legal, compliance, sales, etc.) to manage prioritization, resourcing, controls, and implementation
  • Drive toward effective key product performance indicators (KPIs) and results, including product hierarchy adoption
  • Influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across CB Credit Markets, CCBSI, MMBSI, CRE, CB Data Digital & Product, Wholesale Lending Services, and Credit Risk to execute on team objectives
  • Report on product team initiatives, business cases, and progress to C-level stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with audit and information risk policies

Candidate requirements:

The successful candidate has experience in Product Management for commercial or corporate banking with a strong background in credit risk, commercial lending, commercial real estate lending, or credit markets. The candidate will have demonstrated consistent growth in responsibilities and experience working effectively with senior stakeholders across functional disciplines, regions and LOB's.

Required Skills
  • 8+ years of experience with growing responsibilities in either commercial banking product management, corporate banking, commercial lending, or credit risk
  • Demonstrated expertise in credit products and end-to-end credit delivery spanning banking/sales, underwriting and/or operations
  • Strategic thinker, change agent, well-organized, structured approach, ability to achieve tight timelines on complex deliverables
  • Creative problem-solving skills, capable of developing innovative and differentiated solutions
  • Proven ability to build, lead and motivate a team and other stakeholders, with strong influencing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain strong control environment and process management
