Salary/Rate: Competitive

Location: London/ Remote

Working Days: 5 days a week, Monday to Friday 9:30am - 6pm ( weekend work required on event weekends)

Job Description
:

Do you have a strong interest or background in sports? Do you have a passion for social media and know what is going to get people engaged? We are looking for someone who has a vast knowledge of social media platforms - and also what’s coming next in these areas. The successful candidate will manage workflows with our content producers, project leads and social media managers to develop and execute an online video distribution and digital community growth plan. The successful candidate will provide social media management from strategising, managing and executing on client accounts.


Responsibilities:

  • Constantly building social media strategy and ensuring it is executed successfully
  • Setting up and managing ongoing reports on KPIs and goals to increase a digital audience and engagement
  • Contribute to creative ideas for video content as part of output strategy
  • Planning social content and maintaining the content calendar ensuring social media content is regular, relevant and engaging
  • Managing and overseeing campaigns, ensuring all campaigns are fully integrated across the clients, meeting objectives and delivering ROI
  • Engaging with fans and followers to build relationships with the community and encourage engagement
  • Working alongside the Head of Audience Development to mentor and lead social media managers and junior members of the team
  • Representing the Audience Development team in both internal and external meetings
  • Keep across trends across social media, digital publishing, online video and sports output internationally

Key Skills and Knowledge:

  • Excellent in-depth understanding of all relevant social media platforms - YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat & TikTok
  • Native Level Japanese speaking, writing and reading skills
  • Strong knowledge and experience of digital publishing software and techniques
  • Strong copywriting skills including excellent spelling and grammar, as well as writing techniques to capture particular audiences
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience in a client-facing role
  • Knowledge of relevant sporting audiences
  • Build relationships with customers, industry professionals and journalists
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics
  • Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics
  • Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
  • Monitoring the success of the community and of social media in terms of the overall marketing strategy

  • Able to perform under pressure and to work to tight timescales
  • Be a good communicator with strong relationship management skills
