Job Description:
At Regions, the Data and Analytics Manager leads a team of analysts responsible for accurate data collection, processing, modeling and analysis. This role will drive strategy by presenting data-driven insights to executive and non-technical audiences.

Primary Responsibilities
Manages the processes of modifying and transforming data into a format that is valuable, readable, and presentable
Leads and executes cross-functional projects using advanced data analysis techniques to discover insights that will drive strategic decisions and efficiencies
Prepares information and makes presentations to various audiences including executives, senior and mid-level managers and associates
Manages the design and delivery of reports that analyze business functions, key operations and performance metrics, and trends impacting the company to determine appropriate action
Oversees the requests process for data analysis through tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
Identifies trends and seeks opportunities for continuous improvement
Performs general management duties to include recruiting, training, developing and supervising analyst-level employees

This job is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements
Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, or related field and six (6) years of experience in a data analytics or related role
Or, a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, or related field and eight (8) years of experience in a data analytics or related role
One (1) year of experience in a supervisory/management role

Preferences
Prior experience utilizing analytical software such as Structured Query Language (SQL), Statistical Analysis System (SAS), SAS Enterprise Miner, and applicable Microsoft Office applications
Advanced knowledge of business intelligence software (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)

Skills and Competencies
Ability to supervise and manage a team
Demonstrated leadership capabilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
Strong work ethic and self-motivation

Additional Job Description

Additional Responsibilities
Conducts Ad-hoc analysis across various expense line items to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and expense reduction
Analyzes service provider framework and spend to determine opportunities for improved efficiencies
Works with internal team to determine desired future state of the CRE organization and builds plans to achieve desired outcomes, presents updates to senior leadership
Provides assistance to CRE subject matter experts by conducting Ad-hoc analysis and helps format presentation materials for projects
Assists with M&A integration process for the Corporate Real Estate team
Gathers and centralizes portfolio data from the acquired entity and share with key CRE stakeholders
Conducts Monthly & Quarterly reporting and consolidates key metrics and commentary for submission to Investor Relations
