  • With your high energy and selling skills, you provide the first impression to potential residents helping them to match their needs with the ideal apartment. You cultivate the resident experience by building lasting relationships, anticipating their needs, and exceeding their expectations to create exceptional experiences.
  • Own the leasing process from introduction to move-in. This includes greeting guests, identifying their housing needs, touring the property, showing apartments, explaining lease criteria, determining eligibility based on established criteria, following-up with prospects, closing the sale, completing lease documents and inspecting units to ensure a great “move-in experience”
  • Own the renewal process from move-in through renewal. This includes providing ongoing communication, excellent resident relations, and timely processing of the renewa
  • Utilize creative marketing and social media strategies to increase qualified property traffic and closing ratios
  • Inspect units for market readiness prior to showing and move-in; resolve issues with appropriate parties
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail when preparing lease documents, resident files, applications for approval security deposits, rent payments and other bookkeeping tasks
  • Maintain positive communications with residents and provide excellent service through courteous and timely response to resident needs and concerns
  • Assist with planning, preparation, and execution of resident functions
  • Maintain accurate and in-depth knowledge of the property, other Mills properties and local competitors
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail when preparing lease documents, resident files, applications for approval security deposits, rent payments and other bookkeeping tasks
  • Assist with service requests, package collection, and property cleanliness
  • Abide by Mills policies and procedures and laws pertaining to Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, etc.
  • Maintain a professional and organized work environment

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in sales and customer service experience preferred
  • NALP certification preferred but not required
  • Compelling communicator with strong negotiating, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Adept at building relationships and working in a team environment with proven track record of sharing ideas, providing encouragement, building on other’s ideas, giving due appreciation and bringing out the best in others
