Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Real Estate Specialist to join our team.

This position can be located in Dulles, VA or Los Angeles, CA.

Position Summary / Responsibilities

Manages the acquisition, disposition and lease administration for office, lab, warehouse and manufacturing facilities. Locates and negotiates sites for purchase or lease. Ensures proper documentation of lease or purchase transactions. Supervises the administrative management of corporate-owned or leased properties. Establishes procedures used in site acquisition and property management. Establishes rental rates and leasing policies including use and occupancy arrangements with other sectors; may include accountability for furnishings and/or equipment associated with leased properties. Compiles lease commitment and expenditure forecasts. Coordinates with stakeholders on requirements for lease acquisition. Supports development of real property acquisition requests and related lease terms aligned with company strategic plans and program requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

14+ Years of experience with a Bachelors degree; 12+ Years with Masters

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with real estate transactions and portfolio management within Fortune 500 Company and/or aerospace industry.
  • Experienced using Tririga Real Estate Management System (REMS) and knowledgeable of SAP.
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with real estate finance and related financial reporting


Salary Range: $129,000 USD - $193,400 USD


Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
