As a Property Manager you will work in a transitional housing setting in Mt. Holly, Burlington County, NJ. The emergency transitional housing is for adult consumers in need of case management services.

Schedule: Full-time; 40 hours; Monday-Friday 8:15am-5:00pm

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor rent payments and update leases and perform income verification
  • Re-certification for SRAP properties, Burlington county home program
  • Coordinate internal inspections and ensure compliance with inspections from State funding sources
  • IN charge of Burlington county home program
  • Develop and maintain a system for coordinating tenant files and reporting in accordance with affordable housing guidelines for County, local, and State funding sources
  • Maintain an understanding of tenant-landlord law and procedures
  • Monitor condo association regulations, and ensure compliance with tenant documentation requirements; attend condominium association meetings as necessary
  • Trouble shoot routine maintenance to ensure optimum living environment. Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure attention to minor repairs.
  • On-call for any property concerns
  • Walk out inspections
  • Coordinate furniture orders for all units
  • Complete move in and move out inspections

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent plus two (2) years experience in HUD or State housing requirements, supportive Housing provision, and/or New Jersey real estate management;
  • Relevant experience may be substituted for education;
  • Candidate must have excellent communication skills and possess the ability to work collaboratively and independently; Computer skills: Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Power point) and database applications;
  • Valid New Jersey drivers license.
