Janitorial Manager (FT)

Our company is looking for a Post Janitorial Manager to supervise our third shift housekeeping team at Orlando Venues. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness. You will handle weekly and daily employee schedules, oversee daily tasks to ensure they are completed well and on time, and manage our inventory of cleaning equipment and supplies. In addition, you will assist with administrative tasks (including payroll) and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations. Our ideal applicant has several years of janitorial experience, including some supervisory roles. All applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

  • Complete the weekly schedule for cleaning staff
  • Manage daily schedules, including lunches and breaks
  • Interview and train new staff
  • Keep track of inventory needs
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including payroll
  • Maintain quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

  • Janitorial or housekeeping management experience is strongly preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks as needed
  • Organizational and leadership skills
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Experience in management, operations, and leadership.
  • Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash-flow management.
  • Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial management.
  • Demanding schedule with the ability to support weekend and holiday coverage.
