Our hiring process includes the reviewing of your application, a virtual interview which will cover you experience and where we can explain the full aspect of the role and the part we play as a team to the national advisors. Once the interviews have taken place, we will then review the candidates and depending on the response, complete a second call should we need more information to make our decision. During the virtual interview, you will have the opportunity of meeting our inhouse team trainer, who will explain how we will tailor the training we give depending on your knowledge of completing different case types”.
Paraplanning Operations Manager
About the Role
As a Mortgage Paraplanner in Quilter Financial Planning, your main purpose is to provide support to the Quilter Financial Adviser based advisers, by consolidating the client’s needs and objectives, together with the recommendations and calculations in a suitability letter, you will be analysing and using research tools to provide solutions to meet client’s needs and objectives to find suitable lenders as well as producing sourcing reports and mortgage illustrations
You will be responsible for ensuring that all paperwork is provided and sufficient to facilitate the lenders and compliance requirements as well as completion of AIP. Producing compliant suitability reports and addendum letters if required and checking supporting documents in-line with Quilter’s sales process and guidance.
Communicating with third parties to ensure the completeness of the mortgage. Carrying out all tasks to be consistent with compliance procedures.
You will be liaising directly with advisers on a regular basis, ensuring that they are kept updated with the progress of their cases, additionally, you will be liaising with the Quilter Compliance Team on a regular basis to understand any changes in the guidelines, always ensuring compliance.

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have or be working towards CeMAP qualifications
You will have knowledge of the Financial Services Industry, ideally with some experience in Paraplanning for mortgages
You must be competent in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
You must act with due skill, care and diligence and integrity
