With over 30 years' experience of successfully delivering a range of affordable home ownership products and services this is a period of significant growth for Sovereign Living; with a target to sell over 700 homes this year and more in the future.


We have an exciting, opportunity for a Sales Consultant to join our team covering the Bristol region. This role combines a mix of home, field and office working.


Every employee has a crucial role to deliver our strategy, as a Sales Consultant you will be an ambassador for Sovereign. You'll be responsible for:


  • Providing an excellent sales service, delivering the highest standards of customer care whilst fully meeting the team's targets and objectives.
  • Taking an end to end approach, you will act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the Shared Ownership sales journey.
  • Take operational responsibility for a range of new developments across a number of sales locations, including all aspects of presentation, and stock management
  • Take a proactive approach in identifying target customers and following up leads, ensuring sales are met within the agreed timescales
  • Manage exchanges and completions, including key handovers
  • Influence the marketing for your developments with effective and tailored campaigns, alongside individual market research
  • You will work closely with Customer Contact Advisors to proactively identify potential sales customers and create ‘forward' interest and subsequent viewings. You will then follow-up all sales ‘leads' and effectively qualify and progress customers to ensure that sales targets are met

What you'll need


  • Sales experience within Housing sector/Estate Agency or affordable housing is desirable, however we'd love to hear from you if you feel you have transferable skills.
  • Strong customer service skills, as you will be required to work with internal and external customers ensuring you deliver what is expected.
  • The drive to deliver sales targets and KPI's and the ability to self-manage and prioritise your own workload.

Being available flexibly to support customer requirements (Ordinary working hours 9.30am – 5.30pm on a rota basis, with 1 weekend off per calendar month. You may be required to work additional hours to facilitate events or customer viewings as required.)
