Salary is £25,000 - £27,000 per annum and the role is based in our Horsforth Head Office in Leeds. We operate a hybrid working model providing a balance of home and office working.

We are looking for a Mortgage & Protection Assessor in our Advice Standards Team who support our clients in delivering a high-quality advice checking/assessment service in line with Tenet core values, Service level agreements, FCA regulation and Tenet policy.

In terms of what we do, we are an award winning Independent Financial Adviser support group with over 25 years industry experience. We provide a wide range of services that enable us to provide quality financial advice and services to meet the requirements of our clients.

What you’ll be getting up to:

  • Provide advice assessments in line with service level agreements to support our clients
  • Act as a consultant both internally and externally for advisers when dealing with individual case assessment
  • Maintain own CPD records and ensure manage in the time allocated.
  • Follow the Advice Standards charter to provider good customer service
  • Record keeping on all systems is accurate and follows all processes
  • Use the escalation process to alert the appropriate persons to any advice or compliance issues identified
  • Assessment of advice in accordance with the Regulators and Tenet policy standards.
  • Manage own workload within given timescales, taking ownership of meeting the teams’ objectives.
  • Delivering good client outcomes ensuring all cases are brought to an appropriate conclusion in a timely manner.
  • Ensure and manage all assessments are in line with the policy and meet the minimum quality assurance programme requirements.

You will be able to demonstrate the following skillsets:

  • Workload management
  • Organising and planning
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Timely response times
  • Good telephone manner with the ability to build rapport and provide excellent customer service
  • Accuracy and attention to detail

We’d love to see:

  • Essential CeMAP and protection or equivalent
  • Some compliance and/or advice experience
  • Advice assessment/file checking/paraplanning/adviser
