The Real Estate Technical Services organization of Zions Bancorporation seeks a Business Analyst to join the team
The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience to:
Reviews, analyzes and evaluates business processes, procedures and user needs.
Provides data analysis to support, compile and report key information for operations and business objectives.
Responsible to drive processes and improvement initiatives by gathering and documenting business requirements.
Performs and participates in the analysis, design and implementation of business processes and procedures following appropriate standards.
Analyzes and interprets data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for the business and clients.
Communicate analysis and interpretation to appropriate audience.
Produces, publishes and distributes operational reports relating to the development and performance of products and processes.
Conducts tests or test planning sessions, provides input for feasibility and prepares user documentation and follow-up evaluation.
Acts as a liaison with various departments, management and staff to resolve problems and improve processes and procedures.
Performs project management leadership functions as a project manager or team member.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, finance or a related field
2-4+ yrs. experience in business process analysis, gathering and documenting business requirements or other directly related experience.
Experience in analysis of business process and workflow and/or process improvement recommendations.
Experience with project methodology.
A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
Extensive knowledge of business processes analysis, business workflow and process improvement recommendations.
Working knowledge of project techniques and practices.
Knowledge of department specific processes, computer or systems applications or other knowledge skills or abilities may apply.
Ability to solve problems including multiple priorities and research conflicting and/or inaccurate data.
Solid analysis and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees.
Must be able to meet deadlines.
Assists in all phases of third-party vendor risk management life cycle for valuation services vendors.
Conducts quality assurance functions for outsourcing activities and performance.
Provides oversight and monitoring of vendor relationships consistent with department procedures, in compliance with regulatory and bank requirements.
Serves as a liaison within Real Estate Technical Services to valuation services vendors and associated Bank departments related to job responsibilities.
Performs departmental accounting functions.
Serves as Business Analyst in procurement platform systems maintenance.
Responsible to outsource assignments to valuation services vendors through procurement platforms.
Delivers training to department staff covering vendor compliance procedures.
